With the lack of internet at that time and no former business experience, Mimi built her business from the ground up.
After two years Mimi moved into a retail space. She worked in retail for many years then moved on to corporate kitchens and an executive pastry chef.
After years of experience in just about every form of food business, Mimi has become quite the expert. She wrote the book, “Start & Run a Home-Based Food Business” which is now in it’s fifth printing.
Mimi has since written two more books, “Home Baking for Profit” and “The (Faux) Pastry Chef: How I Found My Baking Fix”.
